The Attributes of God A – Z

What is God really like? I mean, is He a figment of one’s imagination? Is the persona a neologism, which tends to be a word created for more permanent use? Some would say the name “God” was coined to allow someone an idea from which to hang misguided hope. Is He a real entity with personality, characteristics, the ability to love and care for a creation that came into existence from nothing? Based on written history dating as far back as 3400-4000 BC, we see references to Jehovah, Yahweh, El Shaddai, Elohim, Jehovah Rapha, Adonai, El Elyon, Jehovah Jireh, and many, many more with each having a descriptive attribute of the One we worship as LORD. God tells Moses “I Am who I Am”. Exodus 3:14.
